Where Gourmand Meets Floral – The Composition

Crush belongs to the Floral Fruity Gourmand family, its structure built on indulgent layers. The opening greets with roasted almond, warm and nutty, carrying a toasted richness. Alongside it, lychee bursts open with juicy brightness, its tropical sweetness shimmering with crystalline clarity. At the heart, Bulgarian rose unfurls with velvety depth. Interwoven with this floral richness is praline hazelnut, adding a caramelized texture, a gourmand facet that wraps the rose in sweetness. The base reveals vanilla, soft and enveloping, spreading across the skin with creamy warmth. It anchors the composition with resonance, leaving behind sweetness that clings like memory.

The World of Akro – A Story of Cravings

Akro was born from the vision of Anaïs Cresp, who, while living in London’s Ladbroke Grove, became fascinated with the scents of the city: coffee rising from street corners, grills perfuming the air, the haze of late nights, the quiet musk of flower stalls. These impressions became the foundation for a brand dedicated to life’s cravings. She invited her father, Olivier Cresp, to translate the concept into perfume. A master perfumer with decades of experience and creations such as Mugler’s Angel and Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, he brought technical mastery to her idea. Together, they built a collection where desires are not hidden but celebrated.

Crush Within the Collection

Crush Extrait de Parfum launched globally in August 2025 as part of Akro’s growing narrative of indulgence. The brand had already explored coffee in Awake, whiskey in Dark, smoke in Smoke, chocolate in Bake, and the ink-stained atmosphere of creativity in Ink. With Crush, Akro turned its focus to the rose macaron – a delicacy captured in fragrance, imagined not as taste but as sensation.
