Drake Launches Cloudar - A Woody Aromatic Fragrance by Michael Carby

Cloudar Enters the Better World Fragrance House Collection

Better World Fragrance House began as a home-fragrance project founded by Drake. The catalog initially focused on scented candles, including Carby Musk and Williamsburg Sleepover. Summer Mink brought the company into personal fragrance in 2025. Cloudar extended that category in May 2026.

Parlux announced the launch on behalf of the brand. Cloudar became available through the Better World Fragrance House website on May 29, followed by an Ulta Beauty retail debut on June 7. The distribution plan included full bottles and a travel spray. An international release was scheduled after the United States rollout.

Better World Fragrance House classifies Cloudar as a woody aromatic Eau de Parfum. Drake created the fragrance in collaboration with Michael Carby. The May 29 launch materials place crystallized ginger, sparkling mandarin, and crisp nashi pear above a floral and aromatic middle section, followed by tonka bean, Haitian vetiver grass, Atlas cedar, and musk.

The Cloudar Note Pyramid Published at Launch

Ginger and Nashi Pear Set the First Phase

Parlux describes the first phase through the crisp lift of mandarin and nashi pear, accompanied by the warmth of crystallized ginger. The ginger note supplies a sugared spice reference, while mandarin provides the citrus element. Nashi pear contributes the fruit accord named in the official pyramid.

The three notes establish the fresh spicy and fruity facets in the PerfumeStars accord reading. Official materials do not disclose the raw materials, concentrations, or construction of the nashi pear accord.

Clary Sage Meets Jasmine Sambac

Parlux describes the middle section as clean and textured. Clary sage supplies the aromatic element named in the woody aromatic classification. Jasmine sambac and lily of the valley establish the floral section of the published note pyramid.

Orchid blossom also appears in the complete May 29 launch list. The current brand product page omits orchid blossom from its abbreviated liner notes, while the official Parlux release includes it in the middle section.

Haitian Vetiver Grass and Atlas Cedar

The base lists tonka bean, Haitian vetiver grass, Atlas cedar, and musk. Better World Fragrance House separately classifies Cloudar as Woody Aromatic. In the PerfumeStars reading, vetiver and cedar account for the dry woody and green facets identified among the main accords.

Tonka bean supplies the softly sweet facet in this reading. Musk contributes to the musky accord, while vetiver grass and Atlas cedar continue the woody profile. A Cream-Colored Sphere for Cloudar

Cloudar uses the spherical bottle established by Better World Fragrance House. The 2026 edition has an opaque matte finish in a cream tone and rests on a rectangular base. Parlux connects the presentation with the cloud-like softness described in the launch materials.

The opaque matte surface conceals the liquid and keeps the spherical section visually distinct. The rectangular stand supports the bottle and supplies the straight-edged element in the design.

Cloudar and Drake’s Fragrance Work

Michael Carby has worked with Drake on several Better World Fragrance House projects. Carby created Carby Musk, which Drake selected as his personal scent. Summer Mink, introduced in 2025, was also created with Michael Carby and became the brand’s first Eau de Parfum.

Cloudar continued the collaboration through a woody aromatic composition. Its note list includes crystallized ginger, floral notes, vetiver grass, and cedar. The May 2026 launch established a second personal-fragrance entry in the Better World Fragrance House catalog.

The fragrance documents the brand’s expansion from home scent into Eau de Parfum. Better World Fragrance House identifies Michael Carby as the perfumer involved in Cloudar’s development with Drake.
