The fragrance opens with Calabrian bergamot heart, tangerine essence, and pear accord. The citrus elements create a crisp, vibrant introduction with subtle juicy facets, while the pear accord adds a smooth fruity tone that softens the opening. Prada also introduced its first neroli bud extraction for this composition, developed to highlight the fresh green dimension of the orange blossom flower.
At the heart of the fragrance, neroli essence and neroli bud essence unfold alongside Tunisian orange flower heart absolute and jasmine sambac absolute. The floral structure feels airy and luminous, shaped by white floral textures with soft solar undertones and creamy nuances. Jasmine sambac contributes depth and floral warmth, while orange blossom introduces a radiant Mediterranean character.
The base centers around Ambrofix™, a bio-converted amber ingredient developed through biotechnology, paired with Laos benzoin resinoid, Madagascar bourbon vanilla infusion, and a white musk accord built around Serenolide™. These materials create a smooth ambery foundation with balsamic warmth, soft sweetness, and a clean musky finish that remains close to the skin.

The triangular bottle of Prada Paradoxe references the historic Prada triangle logo through softened lines and rounded edges. The design combines delicate blush tones with black accents and polished metallic details, reflecting the visual identity developed for the fragrance line.
The campaign features Emma Watson, who also directed the film accompanying the launch. The visual narrative focuses on individuality, movement, and personal expression, presenting the fragrance through intimate close-ups, urban landscapes, and natural light. Watson’s narration explores themes of contradiction, complexity, and self-definition, aligning with the conceptual direction behind Prada Paradoxe.
The composition was developed by perfumers Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu, and Antoine Maisondieu. The fragrance combines classic floral structures with biotechnology-based materials and modern extraction methods, reflecting Prada’s continued interest in innovation within contemporary perfumery.
